Meet Dr. Dylan S. Brown

Dr. Dylan Brown was born and raised in Hickory, NC. He attended Wofford College for his undergraduate education before earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC.

Dr. Brown completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery internship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center before returning to the Medical University of South Carolina to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency. He served as Chief Resident during his final year. His extensive surgical training includes dentoalveolar and wisdom tooth surgery, dental implantology and bone grafting, facial trauma and reconstructive surgery, corrective jaw surgery, cleft and craniofacial surgery, oral pathology, facial cosmetics, temporomandibular joint disorders, and outpatient anesthesia.

During his training, Dr. Brown had the opportunity to travel to Vietnam on a cleft and craniofacial surgery mission trip, where he helped provide care to underserved patients. This experience reinforced his passion for compassionate, patient-centered care and the privilege of using his surgical training to improve the lives of others.

Outside of surgery, Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his wife, Gray, who is from Gastonia, NC. They are excited to return to the Charlotte area and enjoy traveling and exploring new places together. Dr. Brown also enjoys golfing, fishing, and all things outdoors and sports-related.

Dr. Brown believes every patient deserves to be treated with the same compassion, respect, and attention to detail he would provide to his own family.
